These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of VowFolio, a studio management platform for wedding photographers, operated by Meisal Media ("we", "our", "us"). By creating an account or using VowFolio, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 16 years old to use VowFolio. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the authority to enter into these Terms.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
You agree to use VowFolio only for its intended purpose: managing your photography business. You may not:
You retain ownership of all data you enter into VowFolio. We do not claim any rights over your content, photos, contracts, or client information. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely to provide the service.
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of data you enter, including client information. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.
When you use VowFolio to collect data from your clients (questionnaires, contracts, feedback forms), you act as the data controller and we act as a data processor on your behalf. You are responsible for:
The AI assistant is provided as a convenience tool. AI output may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. You should not rely on AI output for legal, financial, or medical decisions. AI responses do not constitute professional advice.
The Crew feature allows photographers to discover and connect with each other. By enabling discoverability, you consent to having your profile information visible to other VowFolio users. You may disable this at any time.
VowFolio provides tools for creating and sending contracts. We facilitate the signing process but do not verify the legal validity of your contracts. You are responsible for ensuring your contracts comply with applicable laws in your jurisdiction. We do not act as a party to any agreement between you and your clients.
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes that temporarily affect availability. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned downtime.
Beta. VowFolio is currently in beta. Features may change, be removed, or contain errors. Beta functionality is provided on an "as available" basis and should not be relied upon for business-critical workflows without backup procedures in place.
Data backup. We do not guarantee that your data will be backed up or recoverable. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important information, including contracts, client data, and deliverables.
Beta period. VowFolio is currently in beta and available free of charge via Apple TestFlight. Beta access may be modified, limited, or discontinued at our discretion.
Paid plans. Upon general availability, VowFolio will be offered as a paid subscription. Current plans and pricing are published at vowfolio.com/pricing. Plans currently include Starter and Pro, with a Studio plan for teams planned for future release.
Billing. Paid subscriptions are billed annually through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms for in-app purchases and auto-renewing subscriptions. Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Cancellation and refunds. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID subscription settings. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple in accordance with their applicable refund policy.
Price changes. We may change pricing at any time. Changes will not affect the current billing period of an active paid subscription. We will give reasonable notice of price changes that affect renewals.
Beta users. Users who join during the beta period may be offered promotional pricing or extended trial periods at our discretion when paid plans launch, but no binding commitment is made at this time.
Taxes. Prices may exclude applicable taxes (VAT, sales tax) depending on your jurisdiction. Apple collects and remits applicable taxes for App Store purchases where required.
You may delete your account at any time through the app. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, we will delete your data within a reasonable timeframe in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
VowFolio is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, lost profits, or business interruption.
Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of VowFolio shall not exceed the amount you have paid to VowFolio in the 12 months preceding the claim. Where the service is used free of charge, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of VowFolio, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of VowFolio after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Stavanger, Norway.
